Never really a Windows Mobile fan, was a Android fan, still a BlackBerry fan (what’s BB on?), and currently becoming an Apple fangirl.

They do Windows Mobile too! In fact, one of the “Best Blogging Phones” according to Lauren Cooke of A Typical Atypical at Independent Fashion Bloggers (not me), happens to be one of their Windows Mobile piece – the HTC Touch Pro2.
On my birthday (yes, today), HTC announced/introduced the new HTC Touch2, a compact and stylish smartphone that is one of the first Windows phones, utilising Windows Mobile 6.5 and new services like Microsoft My Phone and Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Read the rest of this entry »

More Pink updates from Microsoft? According to a piece from Gizmodo, CNET’s Ina Fried says the Microsoft Pink phones (project pink) are “more the evolution of the Sidekick” using Windows Mobile 7 as the core OS, and in addition to Microsoft’s main phone push. I’m pretty out of date with the latest Windows Mobile version so I can’t really be sure if 6.5 is like really new, pretty new or yesterday’s news.
Whatever the case is, an announcement was made by HP indicating plans in Asia Pacific to support the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system on future HP smartphone devices. Read the rest of this entry »
