We all know that the Nuffnang Blog Awards is around the corner (and I’ll be attending the ceremony fyi). Through this “competition” I learned of Mr.Gadget’s blog (finalist for the “Best Geek Blog”) and have grown pretty much fond of it.

Reading his blog recently, I chanced upon something pretty kewl – involved Family Guy characters and the discussion of Windows 7.

It seems the “pioneer and leading producer of ultra-mobile Internet devices”, Asus, had showcased how 3.5G-equipped Eee PCs running Windows 7 allow users to reap the benefits of high-speed mobile broadband connectivity at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona held from February 16 to 19, 2009.

These Eee PCs will be among the world’s first to boast 3.5G capabilities designed around Windows 7 mobile broadband architecture – enabling the connectivity is Huawei’s high performance EM770 embedded module, one of the “world’s first” 3.5G embedded modules developed for Windows 7.
