The ultimate flaw of the iPad is its inability to upload images/photos using Safari.

Fortunately, most of my blogs are on WordPress and there’s an app (doesn’t allow you to pick your own file name though) that does allow image uploading. However, for those (like my personal blog www.sabrina.sg) that uses Drupal, Joomla, etc… let’s just say it’s too bad for you. Although BlogPress supports Drupal, it does allow image uploading.

Anyone has any alternative? iPad, or rather Apple, seriously needs to consider implementing a file system that enables file management.

The iPad is most definitely the best creation ever invented by mankind, it’s only setback is the slight lack of speed and perhaps the lack of a keyboard. That said, I’d rather suffer typing slower than go without it.

But iPad aside, as of current, it’s good to say that I am most definitely an Apple fangirl. I have the MacBook Pro, the iPod nano, the iPhone and of course the iPad. Truth be told, I’m very much tempted to get the MacBook Air. If not for its price, I’d be a proud owner of the machine by now.

It’s for people who don’t go anywhere without their mobile phones and gadgets, people like me really. Read the rest of this entry »

It all started with the iPod I reckon.

When I went to Korea last year, I bought my very first pink iPod nano. Initially, I wasn’t head over heels about it. The only reason for the purchase was its price. It was cheap. Almost 50 percent lower than the price in Singapore. There was really no reason for me not to get it. After all, I don’t have a mp3 player then. Read the rest of this entry »

Apple announced the public beta of Safari 4, the “world’s fastest and most innovative” web browser for Mac and (excuse me) Windows PCs too!

Thanks to the Nitro engine in Safari 4, it is able to run JavaScript 4.2 times faster than Safari 3, up to 30 times faster than IE 7, and more than 3 times faster than Firefox 3. Read the rest of this entry »
