No Flash 10.1 for present day Android phones 1

Feb27

Gizmodo thinks that some of you are probably grateful that flash isn’t “coming to Android phones” of the present day that is. Well, I’m guessing… it’s laggy enough as it is, let’s not make it worst? I’m just guessing of course.

There are two factors that determines whether your Android is read or not. And it happens to be both the hardware and the software (Adobe only plans to support Android 2.0 and up) needs to be optimise to be able to run flash and well… current Androids aren’t exactly build “the right way”. continue reading »

Apple increase iPhone 3G download cap 4

I’ve seen this before, in fact, it happened to me just a couple of days ago when I wanted to download a game. Admittedly, I’ve been pretty addicted to my iPhone lately. continue reading »

iPhone ROX! 1

Jan17

Keeping this short.

I’m blogging via an iPhone app I got that links to my WordPress. The app allows me to write, upload images, etc. The best thing about it is that I don’t have to open up Safari and login time after time. It allows me to post and moderate comments through a simple interface. The downside however, is it disables the shortcuts codes I programmed. In other words, although I can upload images and write a proper entry, it’s a little more tedious compared to using my MacBook. continue reading »

Dear Nokia… 0

Jan9

Just checked my email and received releases from Nokia – I subscribe to them.

Usually I’d read, see if it’s relevance and blog if suitable. Today I realise how pointless it is. It’s not that the news is of no value but… honestly I’ve totally lost touch with Nokia. For as long as I can remember I’ve not tested any of their products. continue reading »

Becoming an Apple fangirl 3

It all started with the iPod I reckon.

When I went to Korea last year, I bought my very first pink iPod nano. Initially, I wasn’t head over heels about it. The only reason for the purchase was its price. It was cheap. Almost 50 percent lower than the price in Singapore. There was really no reason for me not to get it. After all, I don’t have a mp3 player then. continue reading »

Your HTC, my Tattoo, our Android 1

Missing the HTC Tattoo launch event last week was surely disheartening – Butter Factory plus technology is the PERFECT combination, ever. But all is not lost. I might have missed the party but I’ve not missed out on the information, not entirely at least.

Gina filled me in on the updates, and here it is. continue reading »

BlackBerry Storm 2, not to be 3

Many sources have revealed that BlackBerry Storm 2 will be released later this month in the UK. However, so far, there’s no news of it arriving in Singapore yet.

Anyway. The new version of the Storm (in other words, the Storm 2) is said to have Wi-Fi capability and improvements to the tactile feedback for its display. continue reading »

Asus to offer Android 1

One after another, the big boys are joining the bandwagon. And this time, Asus is onboard and ready to roll.

According to DigiTimes, Asustek (Asus) chairman Jonney Shih and CEO Jerry Shen brought good news to the people at a local press meeting in Taiwan. Shih says that the company’s first Android phone will be “unveiled this year” (yes, as in 2009) and not next as originally rumoured. continue reading »

Putting down the iPhone 1

Word has it, Verizon has begun its attack on Apple’s iPhone!

A leak points that Verizon is planning an upcoming ad series cheekily nicknamed “iDoesn’t”, specifically targeting things that the “iDevice” doesn’t do. continue reading »
