The Broadband ExpertThe Broadband Expert Being a writer/blogger by day, student by night and slacker full-time, internet connectivity is an essential tool for my day to day "activity" so to speak. Without being able to go online somewhat means I'm not able to do my "work" effectively, or at all for that matter of fact. On the move practically...

Japan has it all! The mobile Final Fantasy Legends and now the Walkman in various colours. The worst part of all? No one really knows if it will ever be available outside the country (like Singapore).

Recently announced, Sony Japan released a total of 12 new Walkman split into three series (E, S and A). The players from the E and S series will hit Japanese stores on October 9, with the A Series following on November 13. Read the rest of this entry »

Everyone is on Twitter these days, even if they don’t tweet anything at all. Social platforms are not just a tool anymore, it’s like an ID. Without it, it’s as though you do not exist. I kid you not.

I’m not quite sure if I’m against or supporting this yet. The idea of using nothing to raise money in the name of charity is kinda… I don’t know… somewhat misleading I guess.

On the other hand, a typical SEO-type blogger (or whatever you call them) would come up with titles that would pop-up when someone searches for a particular keyword or keywords for that matter.

“I Tried a Dating Site That Matches You Based on Your Favourite Books” happens to be one of those titles that works somewhat both ways. Or so I think. (Totally out of point by the way.) Read the rest of this entry »

A lot of talk has been going around about the T-Mobile G2 since 2008. Recently, there’s new confirmation that an announcement of the device is finally in the works. The amusing part of this announcement is that the message was posted by T-Mobile’s Twitter account in… binary code!

According to those familiar, it translates to “G2newscomingsoon”. Read the rest of this entry »
