I don’t know about you, but the moment I caught a glimpse of Untitled Jersey City Project my first reaction was, “this looks interesting!” I knew I had to find out more.

A little background, “The story is set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, just across the river from Manhattan.” It is said that, “A shining new city is being built on the edge of this gritty town. But while the glass office towers and condos are sleek and new, the rules of the game haven’t changed one bit. Everyone here has something to gain – money, fame, power. Or they can lose big. Or they could end up dead.”

Check the video out!

The clip is about 30 seconds. Like most trailers, bits and pieces of the show is showcased – mainly the exciting ones. In that short 30 seconds, you experience a mix of action, romance and not to mention, mystery. Nothing meets the eye, and it all seems uncertain.

In episode 1 up-and-coming architect Frank George awakes to find his partner lying dead in a pool of blood at the construction site. In episode 2, Frank and Ray meets Jane (the blonde girl), a reporter that wrote a unfavourable feature on their troubled Waterfront Stadium Project.

As the story progresses, the suspense and excitement increases. The classic high-speed car chase, mishaps on the “big project”, and finally, it all goes down to the ultimate standoff.

Like I said, nothing meets the eye. What are your thoughts?

The ultimate flaw of the iPad is its inability to upload images/photos using Safari.

Fortunately, most of my blogs are on WordPress and there’s an app (doesn’t allow you to pick your own file name though) that does allow image uploading. However, for those (like my personal blog www.sabrina.sg) that uses Drupal, Joomla, etc… let’s just say it’s too bad for you. Although BlogPress supports Drupal, it does allow image uploading.

Anyone has any alternative? iPad, or rather Apple, seriously needs to consider implementing a file system that enables file management.

The iPad is most definitely the best creation ever invented by mankind, it’s only setback is the slight lack of speed and perhaps the lack of a keyboard. That said, I’d rather suffer typing slower than go without it.

But iPad aside, as of current, it’s good to say that I am most definitely an Apple fangirl. I have the MacBook Pro, the iPod nano, the iPhone and of course the iPad. Truth be told, I’m very much tempted to get the MacBook Air. If not for its price, I’d be a proud owner of the machine by now.

Japan has it all! The mobile Final Fantasy Legends and now the Walkman in various colours. The worst part of all? No one really knows if it will ever be available outside the country (like Singapore).

Recently announced, Sony Japan released a total of 12 new Walkman split into three series (E, S and A). The players from the E and S series will hit Japanese stores on October 9, with the A Series following on November 13. Read the rest of this entry »

Everyone is on Twitter these days, even if they don’t tweet anything at all. Social platforms are not just a tool anymore, it’s like an ID. Without it, it’s as though you do not exist. I kid you not.

I’m not quite sure if I’m against or supporting this yet. The idea of using nothing to raise money in the name of charity is kinda… I don’t know… somewhat misleading I guess.

Anyway, a new “method” of embracing technology and donating to charity has somewhat just been “developed” and it is called TwitChange. Read the rest of this entry »
