The iPad is most definitely the best creation ever invented by mankind, it’s only setback is the slight lack of speed and perhaps the lack of a keyboard. That said, I’d rather suffer typing slower than go without it.

But iPad aside, as of current, it’s good to say that I am most definitely an Apple fangirl. I have the MacBook Pro, the iPod nano, the iPhone and of course the iPad. Truth be told, I’m very much tempted to get the MacBook Air. If not for its price, I’d be a proud owner of the machine by now.

Rumour has it, not only is the next MacBook Air gonna be smaller and faster, it is gonna be cheaper than its predecessor! Well, according to AppleInsider that is.

AppleInsider stated that Apple is preparing to launch a redesigned MacBook Air with an 11.6-inch display – down from the current 13.3-inch model – equipped with a miniature solid state drive “card” that resembles a stick of RAM rather than a traditional hard drive.

AppleInsider speculates that the usage of flash storage will enable extremely fast boot times and “instant-on” capabilities while driving down production costs.

AppleInsider’s report comes in line with claims previously made by DigiTimes, which said Apple was manufacturing 11.6-inch MacBooks in late September.

What do I think? It’s a good size, now all I need to know is the price! ^^
