BlackBerry Storm 2, not to be
3
Many sources have revealed that BlackBerry Storm 2 will be released later this month in the UK. However, so far, there’s no news of it arriving in Singapore yet.
Anyway. The new version of the Storm (in other words, the Storm 2) is said to have Wi-Fi capability and improvements to the tactile feedback for its display.
The improved technology on its screen is called SurePress. This technology can detect different amounts of pressure pushing down on the screen rather than if there is a touch or not like traditional touch-screen phones.

Other features of the phone includes: 3.2-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM and HSPA, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, GPS for maps and other location-based applications, 256MB of flash memory, plus 2GB of storage and a microSD slot supporting flash cards up to 16GB.
Here’s a first look by Telegraph TV:
I’m a BlackBerry user myself (the Bold that is), and have never regretted my purchase. In fact, it is the first phone that I actually bought in the past 3 years.
The main reason why I choice the Bold over the iPhone is the QWERTY keyboard, the size of the phone and the fact that it had all the necessary features that I need for a mobile phone. So, even if the Storm 2 perhaps more advance in terms of technology. Without the QWERTY keyboard, I won’t be considering a switch – long finger nails and touch-screens just don’t go hand-in-hand.

@prebetsabu: More BB fans, hurray!
Yup, the improvements are great, but I guess I’ll be sticking to QWERTY for quite a while…
