One after another, the big boys are joining the bandwagon. And this time, Asus is onboard and ready to roll.

According to DigiTimes, Asustek (Asus) chairman Jonney Shih and CEO Jerry Shen brought good news to the people at a local press meeting in Taiwan. Shih says that the company’s first Android phone will be “unveiled this year” (yes, as in 2009) and not next as originally rumoured.

I’m still trying to figure out how the phone actually looks.

I know Asus does mobile phone too, but never thought it was going well enough for them to enter the Android market.
