Nokia is classic, reliable. Much like Ericsson before it became Sony Ericsson – the good old days – so much easier to decide what mobile phone to get back then.

There are countless options when it comes to smartphones these days, much less talk about mobile phones in general. While the Nokia E71 is perhaps one of Nokia’s most popular phones in recent times, all good things come to an end. But have no fear for its successor is here! In fact, it’s just a number away – Nokia E72.

The new Nokia E72 is based on the same “award-winning” design with a couple of tweaks here and there. For instance, instead of the 3.2-megapixel camera, we now have a 5-megapixel one. Other enhancements includes:

• Optional Navigation Key: touchpad instead of NaviKey
• Faster HSDPA: from 3.6Mbps to 10.2Mbps
• 3.5mm stereo audio jack instead of the 2.5mm Nokia jack
• Improved noise cancellation
• Slightly larger: from 114mm to 144mm

According to Mobility Site, it’s currently available for pre-order from Amazon – US version that is.
