More Android-based devices to be release by T-Mobile
Android is a mobile OS developed by Mountain View, California-based technology giant, Google. “We are looking to launch multiple Android-based devices in the second half of this year with three partners,” Cole Brodman, chief technology officer of T-Mobile USA said.
It is said that T-Mobile has big Android-based plans after the million-selling success of the G-1 (Google Android phone). In fact, Brodman expects Android to find its way down into feature phones on the low end.
Apart from just operating on mobile phones, during the conversation with GigaOm, Brodman hinted that T-Mobile USA is pretty optimistic about Android OS running on netbooks.
Brodman said he’s seen demo versions of Android-based sub-notebooks from the largest U.S. computer manufacturers such as Hewlett-Packard and Dell.
