5 new digital voice recorder from Sony
Sony launches its five new digital voice recorder models from the entry-level BX, PC-linked PX and premium SX-series, to cater to a wide variety of voice recording needs.
This set of new digital voice recorders feature “high-quality” recording modes and are able to store up to 1,505 hours worth of recordings with 4GB storage capacity.
ICD-SX Series: ICD-SX700, ICD-SX800, and ICD-SX900
This series seems to be catered towards the professionals – records CD-quality tracks without compression, three in-built high sensitivity microphones for centre-focused or stereo recording, and ability to capture accurate recordings from all directions.
The SX-series also offers up to 1,505 hours worth of recording time with a large 4GB storage capacity.
ICD-PX Series: ICD-PX720
The ICD-PX720 is able to do high-speed file transfer of voice recordings to PC, supports Super High quality mode, delivers crisp clear recordings, offers ample recording freedom with up to 288 hours of recording time, and 1GB storage capacity.
Another offering of the PX-series is the voice operated recording function which automatically activates the recorder only when audible sound is present.
ICD-BX Series: ICD-BX700
For the novice user, the ICD-BX700 is probably for you. This recorder packs up to 288 hours of recording time and 1GB storage capacity.
The new ICD recorder range will be available from March 2009.
