Wacom’s new 19-inch interactive pen display 1
The supposedly “leading” manufacturer of pen tablets, interactive pen displays and intuitive interface devices, Wacom, announces the DTU-1931A – a high-resolution 19-inch LCD equipped with a digital pen enabling users to write, annotate and navigate directly with the pen on the screen. This product is aimed at the education and healthcare markets as well as companies requiring audio visual equipment.
With a “high quality” 19-inch screen size offering SXGA resolution of 1280×1024, the DTU-1931A provides advanced video capabilities with the inclusion of DVI-I input and DVI-I output – either analogue or digital video sources can be used. Now, it also supports analogue or digital output to projectors and displays.
In additional to all that, a new feature is introduced – video scaler. This feature supports wide-format input as well as native aspect ratio. Set to standard the DTU-1931A has a 4:3 aspect ratio, but when connected to a wide-screen laptop or other hardware, it automatically changes to 16:10.
The DTU-1931A is compatible with Windows or Mac OS, and will begin shipping at the end of January. It comes with a 1-year warranty in Asia Pacific (except China, Hong Kong and Japan). For pricing, please contact local Wacom offices or distributors: www.wacom-asia.com/contact
