Pardon me, as expected, I blogged about the event at Gadget3.com yesterday, but didn’t have the time to blog about it here. Hurhur. Oh well.
Attending Sony Ericsson’s media event yesterday was definitely the best choice I’ve made this week. Not only did I get to learn more about the PlayNow services, I had the opportunity to get a first hand experience at their innovative kiosks, played with a couple of their latest mobile phones, and take the sailing boat out for a spin (with a little extra tasteful sight on the side)!

The life of a journalist and a blogger sometimes clashes but it’s not always for the worst.
I received two invitations from Sony Vaio as a blogger and a journalist to attend the launch of Sony Vaio P (Pocket style PC) event held at The Salon, Level 1, National Museum, 93 Stamford Road.
Netbook Trademark Kerfuffle is “All about the Money”

According to GigaOM, jkOnTheRun broke the news that Psion Teklogix, owner of the “Netbook” trademark, was sending cease-and-desist (C&D) letters to some blogs and smaller web sites.
The news stirred up enough controversy that Psion’s law firm, Origin, sent a response to jkOnTheRun to clarify a few points. For instance they said that they are only going after entities that are “making a direct, financial profit from use of the ‘Netbook’ trademark”. Read the rest of this entry
