Emporio Armani lights up Samsung Night Effect 1
Once again, Italian designer Giorgio Armani and Samsung has collaborated on creating a fashionable handset, the Night Effect. However, this time the Samsung M7500 Emporio Armani Night Effect candy bar cellphone is branded under the Emporium Armani sub-brand.
Apart from the Italian design house’s logo engraved on the side and rear of the handset, the Night Effect also features a customized ringer sound.
This quad-band GSM handset features a 2.2-inch OLED display, a 3-megapixel camera integrated into a body that’s less than a half-inch (12mm) thick, and it supports the HSDPA 3G data network. It also sports Bluetooth support of wireless headsets or earphones, an integrated FM radio tuner and a microSD card slot. MP3 and WMA digital music files are supported, and there is a 3.5mm audio jack for standard headphones as well as dedicated music controls on the side of the phone.
The exclusive Armani package comes complete with the Emporio Armani branded neck strap and earphones, as well as the Armani-designed fabric package case. The introductory package will also include an Emporio Armani music CD compilation.
Available in both black and white colour options, the NIGHT EFFECT will be available at all authorized telecommunications outlets from December 14, 2008 onwards at a recommended retail price of SGD668.00 without contract.
PS: If you’re wondering how the name came about, it is derived from the phone’s heavy use of LED lights that make it stand out at night-time.
